| Biography |
Currently working as School Improvement Officer for Liverpool City Council.
The bulk of my, and most advisors work, seems to be around Internet Safety. However, I am passionate about the introduction of Web 2.0 technologies (social networking) and mobile phones into our creative curriculum. I am currently working on a project introducing class sets of iPhones into the Primary and Secondary classrooms for cross curricular work.
Prior to my post in Liverpool, I worked as an ICT (Secondary Strategy) Consultant and then a Learning Platform Consultant) for Wirral Borough Council.
I am a chair of Governors for a local Primary school and have gone through the mill in so far as 3 headship appointments in as many years, coming out of an Ofsted category and now being a part of a team of a very good school.
And my most important job is being Mum to an 11 year old boy on the Autistic Spectrum and fighting that battle in his mainstream school. |
