I'm looking for outside input on a important topic.
I have been with my fiance for 10 years, we have two children.
He has a what is now 11 year old daughter. Him and the mother never dated. They had a one week fling, and never spoke to eachother again, not till she called him when her baby was 6 months old and said he had a daughter.
He flew from whislter to see his child, at which this point the mother had already had a abusive drug dealer boyfriend, so he stepped away. Every time he seen his daughter she would have a black and blue face.
Long story short, we hooked up, and we have been together since. When I was preg with our son, she called him up, and said you want to meet you daughter this time, she had a new boyfriend another drug dealer in and out of jail. He said yes. He wanted to see see the lil girl every other weekend for the whole weekend. But mom said when would she see her? Back to square one they fought again. This time it was over money, he had given her 300, a week later she wanted more, he had 20.00 left from shopping for food, and said he had to buy our son baby formula, she walked away. Never seen his daughter again... THEN out of the blue she comes to him at his work, meanwhile years have past he had been paying child support, garnished his wages. The mom comes to his work, and ask again do you want to see his daughter.
He said YES he has always wanted to be there. A week later she goes i need 3000 for braces. He and I knew there was something up, she wanted something and it was no father figure for her daughter. He told her that he doesn;t have it, but will go fishing and pay it all off is half.
Through the year before fishing he would try so hard to see his daughter, and daughter had no interest at all, because he isn't going to be a disneyland dad. He wants to show her what it is to have a father a sister brother and structure. He paid for school, supplies, clothes, gifts, everything. Then fishing time came to go away, and he gets told they are moving to Calgary for a year. My poor fiance he is trying so hard, and the mother doesn't care.
Now we have been served again, she wants more support. He has been trying all month to contact his daughter even emailing her directly on facebook, and email. And the lil girl is erasing all his msgs and posts and wont respond. What could I do to help him
I also forgot to mention after he came back and paid for the braces, all of it, she the mom yelled at him, said if he wants to see his daughter he cannot have her near our other two kids, or myself. How can someone make someone else choose a child. A heart is big and can love all. What can I do, i want to support him. He isn;t doing anything wrong. We know this lil girl is spoiled as her mom. Mother just broke up with another drug dealer boyfriend.
