I hope someone out there could offer me some advice,my daughter is 28 shw is married with two children. she does not live close to me as her husband is in the army.I have always tried to be there for all of them,my husband and i have helped them out with money as they have got into a lot of debt.we have also been there for her when things were not going to well with there marriage.we brought her up to be polite and respect other people but now she is so in considerete she never says thank you to anyone if yhey do anything for her. at xmas we had a fall out she told us that she no longer wanted anything to do with us she said that all she was bothered about was her husband and her two children nobody else mattered to her. Im so upset as this means i wont get to see my granchildren can anyone offer me any advise please i love my daughter and my gran kids but im so fed up with her walking all over us

thanks for the advice,she was a good kid, it all changed when she got married, her husband doesnt like us,We always tried to teach her to be her own person, but he is very controllingwhen he says something she jumps, she doesnt really have any friends of her own because he says he doesnt like any of them so she dont keep in touch with them now.Ive heard that she now thinks of his mum as her mother instead of me. a broken heart hurts so much

Sorry Juliad,
Its tuff when children reject you like that. Just keep on showing love and maybe as she matures ( sounds immature) she will reconnect. Be the lighthouse Juliad and be strong!
How was she as a teenager?
