myspace needs a call center

I was a victim of a false profile on my space. I was able to have it deleted but it took much help and I couldn't have done it alone. I could have easily lost my job because I'm an untenured teacher. Since myspace is so big and making a fortune, they need a vehicle other than email that they don't address quickly enough.

Thanks, LauraL, the first number you gave is the Customer Care direct line for school issues - whether it's profiles impersonating or harassing teachers or administrators, threats in profiles, bullying, etc.

Maria,
I am a teacher and there is a special number for teachers to call. I'm sorry you are going through this...

The only way to find out who is to subpoena myspace. I guess you would have to hire a lawyer.

Dear Larry; There was a faked profile on myspace. somebody pretended to be me - and used pictures of me. very embarassing!!! How can I go on, if the side is deleted (don´t know who was the one who deleted it!!!probably the one who created it), but still visible in cache....please help me. Problem is - there are times the site is gone, - totally. and times the site appears again ( only in cache, but still!!)how is this possible? does it mean that the site has been online again?thank you very much.

Dear Laura,

I would be very happy if I could get in contact with you. I have the same problem you have had I think. Somebody is pretending to be me - and it is awful. Could you give me a hand. what can I do? I am waiting for your replay - or better - I can´t wait. thanx and all the best!!!!!

Why don't you tell your kids what you're trying to do and have them delete the profiles themselves?

I'll be happy to pass on the suggestion but it's good to know that you were able to have the account deleted. They say they take these requests very seriously.

Could you tell me how you got the account deleted? I am desperate to have my children's accounts deleted and have had no help at all from the myspace website.
