Software that works!

I recently used Enteractive Distribution Company and InfoWorks Technology Company's Family Cyber Alert. It is a software protection solution that lets you monitor your child's PC/Internet activity and it really works!!!

You can get it in most any retail chain stores like CompUSA, Office Depot, and Staples or go on-line Amazon.com and Target.com.

Internet access is an integral to kids lives, notonly in day-to-day ‘kid-to-kid’ communication, it’s integral in kid's educations. Teachers assign research suggesting Web resources. Homework assignments and grading progress are posted on Web sites. But we, as parents, need to ensure our children's safety when they are on-line.

With Family Cyber Alert, I was able to monitor my child’s PC/Internet activity, and block certain activities or types of communication to help make sure my child is protected from those that may be contacting him for reasons that I'm unsure of or feel aren't adequate for his age. Some other things I am able to do is...
• Record Email/Chat/IM
• Record Websites visited Such as MySpace.com
• Record Applications Used
• Record Files Accessed
• Record Keystrokes
• Take Screen Snapshots
• Block Email/Chat/IM
• Block Websites
• Block Games and Applications
• Choose Automatic Keyword Detection
• Activate a Danger Alert

All of the functions of the software work automatically once they are set, and data is saved to a hidden location for only me to see.

Yeah, I am sure my parents would love reading through a few thousand pages of useless crap like IM conversations, emails, Google searches, papers, etc.

And the only way that might be useful would be if it flagged words being typed. So, guess what? Just type a letter into the IM and then another into a different program. Viola! Bypass all of that key logging easily.

Bypassing the site restrictions would be a bit tougher. That would involve other programs/proxy servers that probably most teens won't understand without being walked through. But then again I was able to bypass AOL's restrictions when I was only 10. Maybe young kids are able to understand such things...

Think of how many teens are actualy that smart
Most the ones I know can't even figure out how a short cut works
Most the teens who that sort of stuff is used on don't know what they would be doing in safe mode
I can get around most blocking and monitoring things as well it is simple if you know the os and how the device works. like ones that use ips use a fake ip
Ones that are on the hard drive go into safe mode and disable them
of course most the comps I work on I am the admin but anyways yeah I wish we had pms so many interesting people I can not talk spacificly with.

What was that the 1,000,001th time of us saying that? It truly is depressing how many parents are using this terrible software to spy on their kids. Come on people, be a little trusting.

When did parents get so irresponsible as to have people do their parenting for them? Are they so spineless as to not be able to confront their kids and have a talk? Why is it that crooked politicians can manipulate fear to destroy our rights (patriot act) and ruin what separates this great country from the countless others that simply block people from things to teach them? How have we let this happen?

HEY? Guess what? That software is never going to work. Or rather, not for any kids. They'll find ways around it or access the internet in other places. I mean by booting a pc in safemode with networking.. yeah.

A program like that is if you're either paranoid or stupid. No parent should have to stoop so low as to invade their children's privacy and rights. Yeah, believe it or not, kids have rights too. "Life Liberty and the pursuit of happiness" How could you deny them those things? Not everyone online is a rapist or a murderer. UNDERSTAND PLEASE.

Cyberalert, I hope you're consumer and not in any way affiliated with this software company. Advertising is not allowed under our site rules. Maybe tell us a little more about your kids' ages and how they use the Net? Just a thought. Thank you,
