New safety procedures at Facebook

Hi all, Facebook reached an agreement today with the New York attorney general that establishes new safety procedures regarding complaints about unwelcome contact, pornography and nudity. The agreement - which ends the AG’s probe - calls for Facebook to contact users within 72 hours with how it will respond. Will be interesting to see if other social network sites follow Facebook’s lead!

Hear ConnectSafely co-founder Larry Magid’s interview with Facebook’s Chief Security Officer, Chris Kelly, after the announcement.
