A girl name Linslee has made an imposter myspace of me, and I want it deleted for good. The URL to it is: www.myspace.com/ashleyyahn. She made one about me a few months ago, that one got deleted now she made another one of me. I have reported it to myspace numerous times I even found their number and talked to an person and all they told me was to report it as I keep on doing and nothing I even did my saluate stating I no longer use myspace thanks to her. She has also posted inappropriate photos of someone's bottom trying to say it's mine whenever I would never post any images like that of myself online. She has also used my old photos from freshman year. I don't want to have creepers because of her and I also don't want my work asking me about this. This is highly embarassing. I would appreciate it so much if someone could help me with this. It makes me so mad knowing that their is an myspace PUBLIC VIEWED OF ME like that.

Everything has been reported. But whenever you type my full name in the seach, the image and the display name of the fake myspace of me still appears but whenever you click on it it claim's it's been deleted. I want that deleted from people not seeing that when they search my name if the account was deleted. the account is www.myspace.com/ashleyyahn if it says deleted type in Ashley Yahn in the search and you will see what I mean.

Sorry person, you posted a bullentin in my forum lol. ANYWAYS, I don't understand is that an email I inform? It's just there whenever you type my first and last name in:\ The harassing has stopped (I think) I nofified the police about it once though and they weren't really in much help.

Let me explain a little about cyberbullying like this. They are not just committing a local crime against you, but depending on where their location is, this can lead to state and federal crimes against them as well. You can do some of the following steps to help with something like this.
First print off and copy all materials that this person is doing against you. This includes and pictures, journals, etc.
Keep an ongoing file on these things.
Keep a full SCREEN SHOT on all pages put together to show complete content as well - instructions on how to do this is go to the web page - hit your "print screen" button on your computer. Open up a word document and click inside the body of the document. Hold down the "Ctrl" key and the "V" key on your keyboard at the same time. This will paste the screen shots into the word document.
At anytime someone is doing this and you have asked them to stop and they continue, this is harrasement (just at least one of the charges here) and you can report this to authorities. Your local police will contact the social site and get the IP addresses from them and go hunting for you. They will track it down to the computers they are doing this type of work from. Depending on location of the person, the authorities will confiscate the computer, and they will pick up the charges of prosecuting someone who is doing this to you.
Just because you are on the computer and these are things happening on the internet, you are by no means HELPLESS...your local authorites can and will take this into their hands, but you must have the evidence....and as much as you can. Phone calls, web screen shots, pictures, etc.
I have seen cases like this before. One person harrased another online so the authorities went in and cahrages were filed on the person for each county she crossed over into over the internet....3 counties...now it became state charges too....on further investigation she maybe facing federal charges as well.
I hope this helps you or anyone else who feels lost when dealing with internet harrasement or stalking.

sorry I've been busy with work, I searched my name on myspace and it still has a picture of me and my friend's picture on it and the display as "WV HEAD HOESSS" but if you click on it, it says deleted. Is that an email I write to or an website I go to? Just wondering, and I am not worried about that screen name because, I told all my friend's to block it and I just got a new one.

The link is gone but when you search my full name the pic and display name is still up idk why that is:\ however [deleted for privacy] and her friend [deleted] Walker now hacked into my old screen name on aol called lilburnetteo88 I use it for aim messenger and I cant even get on it and they keep on starting things up with people. I don't know what else to do.

I'm glad it's gone, and hope it stays that way. I know, people are very cruel, and now they have one more (very public) way to lash out. I’m sure MySpace would prevent fakes if they could - unfortunately, it’s impossible (especially given how easy it is to copy photos once they’re online).

I appreciate it so much, I hope another one doesn't appear anymore. I don't know why people do this to get back at someone. The myspace is deleted, thank you. I wish there was a way that myspace would prevent fake myspace's of a person.

Hi, I'm so sorry this is happening to you. I sent your message to our contact, and he will check it out. But even if MySpace deletes the profile, the perpetrator can post another fake in minutes. If that happens, you'll need to make a fresh report with MySpace. Let's hope that doesn't happen.
