Innocent people getting their profiles deleted

Dear Maureen,

As I'm pretty sure you know, Rob has reported alot of accounts to you. And alot of those accounts that he has reported has been deleted. What I want to know is, do you even check out the profiles being reported before you report it to Facebook? Because alot of the profiles deleted are not racially discriminating, and the names aren't fake. Those people are just simply opposing Rob Flemming's arguments. Please actually check background information before you blindly report profiles. A member by the name of Bernard Osamba has recently had his profile deleted. What you need to know is hat there are people without cell phones and things to verify their profile. It does not mean that they are fake.

Thank you for reading, and I hope that you try to get those people their profile back.

Sincerely,
Greenisgood

I would like MY account back as well. They keep telling me I abused their policies but I don't believe I have! I don't understand how they can allow me to start an account and then when it gets disabled, tell me there's NO way I can return! This has really upset me to the point where I was crying off and on yesterday. It upsets me even MORE that a former friend has been allowed to keep HER account after berating me for telling her I was going through a bad spell. No wonder people are going over to Twitter. Facebook has gotten to be a place I am beginning to HATE...but that is where the bulk of my social contacts are so.....

Guess I should be glad since I seem to have an "enemy" there now....:|

We did not refer that account to FB. And yes, we do look at accounts before referring them for review, but since we don't have access to FB's accounts we can't do a full investigation. That's why we refer accounts for review and nothing more. What the site's investigators do from that point is dictated by their own internal policies. A site is not going to delete an account simply because we refer it. Their investigation must find Terms violations.
