Getting a persons IP address isn't very hard to do. Just have to dupe em into using some instant messenger which will allow you to see the IP address (ICQ comes to mind but i dont know if thats even used anymore since i don't IM) that the message is going to. Problem is, you can't do much more than pinpoint to within a few blocks of where they live, usually a 1 mile radius within the zip code (dont get the wrong IDEA though IP addresses DO NOT work that way I'im just giving you an example.) To actually get the persons information there are a few services online for which you can pay to do this but you have to be careful even with that because alot of these places are sketchy. If I had more time i'd fill in all the blanks but simply googling it will result in more information.
I'm sure some less informed person will disagree but like I said googling or yahooing a little while will bring up some more info.

I have attached my own ip address through http://www.ip-details.com/. Like the same i want to know the visitors ip address. How can i chk that. Need some help? |

Even if you had an IP address, an Internet service provider would only release information about the computer's owner under a court order.
If someone's harassing you, I suggest filing a complaint with Hi5 (click the "Report Abuse" link that appears on every member profile and photo).

It is just Hi5 support that can 'discover' IP?Hi5 users can get that info anyhow?

Welcome Pipi, I would imagine Hi5 has access to IP addresses, though they’re not 100% accurate in identifying a particular user, if that's what you're after. Even so, privacy laws prohibit US-based Hi5 from releasing personal information about any user without a subpoena.
