Hi there! I just found out someone is impersonating me on MySpace, having used pictures and info from my real MySpace and Facebook profiles. I have emailed MySpace several times and sent the salute with me holding a handwritten sign with my real friend ID, but the fake profile is still up. My REAL MySpace page is http://www.myspace.com/289717851 (also listed as http://www.myspace.com/malvenyarrow) The FAKE page is http://www.myspace.com/312705824 This is all so distressing, and I would appreciate any help! Thanks so much!

Hi, Binu: Our contact says the page is in the process of being deleted. Unfortunately a new fake can be created under a different URL - if that happens, you'll need to initiate a new report by emailing imposterreport@myspace.com (include your salute) or clicking the "Report Abuse" link at the bottom of the profile.

How exactly do you report it to an admin?
I used the report link at the bottom of the page, and so far absolutely no action has been taken.

Hi ,this is not acceptable and we should find a way to cut off these activities.If you find these types of problems again ,you must complaint to admin then he takes action immediately.

Hi, About a week ago, I found an imposter profile of myself of myspace. It is highly derogatory and I reported it to MySpace admin immediately using the link on the profile page. I also sent a salute as requested. As of yet, no action has been taken and the imposter profile is still up. I would be extremely greatful if you could help me out. Hi and welcome, You can send an email to imposterreport@myspace.com. Include a salute, which is a picture of yourself holding a handwritten sign with your Friend ID. (Read more about salutes here.)
If the profile hasn't been deleted within about a week, contact us again and we'll email our contact at MySpace. (We need you to go through the proper channel yourself first.)
