By reading your last message, I believe we can assume without much doubt that this is not the real Elijah Wood. I hope your cousin can see her way into finding a more productive use of her infatuation of Elijah. It is fun to have these infatuations until they become disturbing. I asked my cousin why she was so sure it was Elijah. She said a Myspace friend recieved a personal voice message from him. I said that could be anyone that sounds like him and she responded that he has a distinctive voice that she would know anywhere. I really think I'll have trouble getting through to her. whoever thios person is, they are serious about making believe they are Elijah Wood which is very worrying.

I am really worried about her bet she is quite introverted and won't listen to any advice. She allready knows all the fansites, has every movie and every picture on her wall. She has even met him so I don't think I can transfer her interest anywhere else. She has had this "obsession" since she was about 17.
She is determined that this is Elijahs real page and I was hoping if I could prove it wasn't she would lose interest in it a bit. She is now logging off at 6.30 in the morning!!
There is a chance that she might not give up even if she does realise its not her idol ... just because she's found another fan. If it is the real deal...I have no Idea how he would find that much time to message his fans.

If anyone can give advice its much appreciated.
I have a cousin who is 20 but does have a learning disability which makes her mentally a lot younger.
She is obsessed with actor Elijah Wood and this has recently taken a bad turn as she thinks she has found his genuine myspace page (wood_would ... I am sceptical) she doesn't work and spends all day and all night shut up in a little room on the internet talking to this person.
her mum is also concerned but is going through bad problems of her own right now and I can't really interfere where its not wanted.
does anyone know if this myspace page is genuine? as informing her its not may help.
also any advice on helping my cousin get her life back would be good. the problem is ... she really doesn't want to do anything else. should I just mind my own??
