Does this only apply to teenagers and under?

Can this be applied to any situation where you are berated or accused by someone of doing something you didn't do or for asking an innocent question. I am confused....
I am in that predicament now and it is VERY frustrating. And though you may block the person, she (or HE) is still there!

On Facebook, I have been reluctant to send friends requests now because if it's someone you don't know, you can't be sure that they won't report you on the spot! Also, even if you do introduce first, you are sometimes met with such hostility, you become afraid to connect with anybody! I am not saying that everyone needs to be your "friend"...but not everyone you could potentially meet online is dangerous....
