I am really upset about this whole ordeal. I am a older woman that set up myspace accounts so that my children and I could write each other and have fun with myspace. I have recruited so many others to myspace and wish to God I hadn't.

Just this last two weeks I began to have problems with my computer as well as my daughter having to purchase a new computer and one of my sons computer had to be rebooted. I could not understand what occured until I did a complete scan of my system and it reported that some of the viruses could go undetected from my virus protector.

It gave me the instructions to find these viruses. The Trojan horse was found by my virus protector but my computer was still infected by a virus that is called downloader adware and my other two childrens were downloader, downloader ll and other ones listed. I had 7 on my computer, 13 on my husbands, 14 on my sons and thank goodness my daughter only had 1 on her new computer.

I have done a lot of downloading off of links in myspace layouts and in myspace layouts. My computer was like myspace home. I had myspace on all the time, yes addicted just like the rest of my family was.

When we started to have problems not knowing what was going on we emailed Tom and DID NOT get a answer this probably giving the downloader virus time enough to attach its self to other files on our computers making our personnel info such as online banking, ebay,paypal and others available for these creeps to cause havoac or possibly if not caught in time take money from us.

When I found that the virus downloader adware was located in my zipped files I was angry. I was dedicated to myspace and this is where I had been sitting up peoples layouts for them. I loved doing this and it actually bothered me when I had to delete my account. This is the only place I could have gotten these viruses.

I had things happening in Ebay that I did not do. My son recieved a letter from Ebay about items that he was suppose to have bidded on and was not paying for the items therefore was going to be the cause of deleting his account. This happened before we found out the viruses and what these people that phised in mypace could actually do to someone.

The bulletin stated that they were phishing causing different things to be changed in peoples accounts or comments sent that you did not do..Oh yes. I had slide shows removed how could this have happened since I have a different password?

Needless to say Tom did not express that they could use your EMAIL ADDRESS to obtain a lot of information. Example 1 in one of Tom's bulletins shows a box that did come up several times on me, my brother in laws, sons and my husband as well as others that I have spoken to that also has deleted their accounts.

This box shows that your login try was unsuccessful try again. I did and it then let me in. I thought well maybe I typed the wrong letter or number in. NOT. This example shows in the bulletin how this is not a part of myspace and this is the way that people are getting into peoples accounts. If this is that easy to attach itself to the original myspace front page then this is not a secure site.

I want to know what myspace has in mind as far as protecting the possible identity theft that could or has been done for those that are die hard members?
